By enrolling in Grace Online, you agree to adhere to the expectations and requirements outlined in the Academic Catalog.​
 

ACADEMIC EXPECTATIONS + NOTIFICATIONS

â–ª A student who attends a course during Week 1 and/or Week 2 of the course and is then inactive in the course for two consecutive weeks may be administratively withdrawn from the course and issued a W grade. Whether the student’s last date of attendance in the course is during Week 1 or Week 2 of the course will determine the refund and fees implications.

â–ªThe average student invests 20-25 hours of work every week in reading, writing, and course participation.

â–ªThe Resource Fee ($50 per course) covers your textbook rental, access to Grace’s learning management system, and other resources. available to you as a student.

â–ªIn order for academic information to be released to a third party, a FERPA release form must be completed for each request.

â–ªIf a cohort or course does not meet capacity requirements, the course may be canceled and your schedule adjusted.

â–ªA student who is withdrawn or dropped from a course due to two consecutive weeks of inactivity and is inactive in his or her next course may be administratively withdrawn from the institution.

 

ACADEMIC INTEGRITY + PLAGIARISM

The principles of truth and honesty are fundamental to the community of learners at Grace Christian College. All members of the Grace community are expected to honor these principles and are responsible for maintaining the integrity of academic coursework at the University. It is the responsibility of the student to give honest and complete replies to all questions including in application forms and other documents required by the College. Plagiarism or any misrepresentation of work, unsanctioned collaboration, use of prohibited materials, and participation in any form of dishonesty all constitute violations of this policy.​ 

 

CONDITIONS OF SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

â–ªYou must participate in all 5 weeks of your 1st course and through the 2nd week of your 2nd course to receive a disbursement.

â–ªYou must participate in the last scheduled course in your semester to avoid funds being returned.

â–ªIf you drop a course, your financial aid and disbursement amount will be adjusted.

â–ªYou must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) to remain eligible for the scholarship.

DROPPING A COURSE

â–ªAttendance is defined as any participation in zoom or classroom.

â–ªAny refund for a dropped course will be determined by your last date of attendance (LDA).

â–ªIf you notify Academic Advising of your desire to drop a course that has not started, you will not be charged.

â–ªIf you notify Academic Advising of your desire to drop a course after the class begins and you have not participated, you will be charged a $100 drop fee and 50% of the Resource Fee.

TEXTBOOK RENTAL AGREEMENT

â–ªEnrolling in Grace Online courses automatically enrolls you in the Tree of Life Textbook Delivery service.

â–ªYou may unroll from the service.

â–ªIf you request to be registered or make a schedule change within 2 weeks of a course start date, you will automatically be charged a rush shipping fee.

â–ªTextbook delivery is required for all online undergraduate students.

â–ªText books and electronic resources are covered by the Resource Fee.

â–ªYou must complete the Information Change Form to notify Grace of an address change to ensure your books are delivered.

â–ªIf you do not return your books within 1 week after the course ends, you will be charged the full cost of the text on your Grace student account.

 

TRANSFER CREDIT

â–ªTransfer credit will not be considered official until an official transcript is received by the Grace Online Registrar’s Office and the transfer work is applied to the student’s Grace transcript.

â–ªAn official transcript from each transfer institution where transfer work is applied at Grace is required by the end of the first 5 week course.

â–ªIf an official transcript is not received, the student’s education plan will be revised and applied transfer work removed.

â–ªA change of degree or program may result in a change in the applied transfer work.

â–ªFull policy regarding transfer work is found in the Online Catalog section titled, “Transfer Credit.”
