The Miss Virtuous Clermont Pageant has been organized to give a special group of girls an opportunity to feel as beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside.  They will be able to experience all the fun of getting dressed up and pampered without the competitive nature of a traditional beauty pageant. Before the actual event, contestants will participate in monthly wisdom circles to bring about their best selves.

 

The  Pageant strives to encourage community involvement and the building of a community of young women who support one another's ambitions and ideas. Therefore, each year the pageant winners volunteer in Clermont, Florida at several not for profit organizations. The focus of our program is to instill the importance of giving back and helping those less fortunate. Through our program our youth are inspired and learn the skills needed to become the leader's of tomorrow.

Before the pageant, contestants will meet for 11 monthly training sessions in the royalty academy that include:

​

• Communitcating - How to communicate with boldness, confidence, and authority

• Etiquette - How to behave in public: protocol, manners, accepted behavior, rules of conduct, decorum, good form. (meal, event, etc.), courtesy

• Life Skills - Skills that are necessary or desirable for full participation in everyday life.

• Talent Development - Develop the natural aptitude or skill

• The types of modeling - Runway, fashion, commercial, plus size, etc.

• Photoshoots - What to expect on the set, how to pose

• Posture and walking - How to achieve a confident walk 

• Makeup application, hair, and nails - Professional tips and tricks to enhance your own unique look

• Business Basics - The business side of the industry (contracts, pay, etc.), auditions/go-sees, model bags, portfolios, budgeting

• Health - Nutrition, fitness, and a positive body image

• Safety - Self-defense, avoiding scams, and protecting yourself from dangerous situations
